Coming from a background of elite-level ice-hockey Travis started with a good base of physical fitness and a mentality of hard work. In fall 2006, Travis found himself in a teaching role after co-founding the country's first officially recognized parkour club at a major university, the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Through over two years of near-daily teaching, Travis honed a skill set that would afford him the opportunity to move to Washington, DC to teach at Primal Fitness <http://www.primal-fitness.com/>  and head up the gym's parkour program. As well as being a sought-after parkour teacher, Travis maintains a world-class level of skill, performing parkour and freerunning across the US and around the world as well as competing on the hit TV show Jump City Seattle <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HzBa9fLbEY&list=SL> . Travis' incredible strength has lead him to be a competitor on Ninja Warrior, a Japanese game show that has competitors compete on the world's most difficult obstacle course. Now a full-time parkour practitioner and teacher, Travis works to improve the community and his own skills on a daily basis.
