I
grew up in Buckhorn CA (not in Ventura county). Try and find it on a map, I dare
you. Raised by wolves and skate park rats, skiing Kirkwood, shooting
guns in every direction, crashing cars, cutting firewood and going on forest
adventures was pretty much my life before moving to Reno. I bartered with pawn
shops and casinos to trade firewood for season passes and meal vouchers while
finishing up classes at UNR.
However, one man can only handle so much cheap liquor, homeless people,
fixed gears, and Burning Man hippies. I made my way back to the woods of Lake
Tahoe where I'm finishing up school and sneaking in the back door to
Woodward. You can still catch me down in Reno with the Moment dudes
on occasion but chances are if you see a large dark figure running through
the forest of Tahoe... it’s most likely not me, probably just a Yowie.
